This place is a lot of potential. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and it's nice to look out over the river. The salmon tostadas were good. I enjoyed all the flavors and a little hot sauce on it too. The portion of this was spot on. However, I was so disappointed in the Shishido peppers. I think for nine dollars you should get more than six peppers. The dipping sauce was tasty and the peppers that we did have were good. The portion was ridiculously small. I have been here a few times previously and only had wine or cocktail. The vibe is fun, but they could really step up the food game.

Sara was an amazing server. Great personality and great knowledge of the food and atmosphere. We will come here again soon. This place has really amazing food and when you have great service, it makes for the best experience! This Restaurant is also by the river and the view is very relaxing. I've been here a couple of times for dinner, but I prefer coming during brunch time as they have a lot more vegetarian options. I've gotten their veggie omelet a few times, I enjoy substituting with egg whites and love the breakfast potatoes that come along the side. This time there was a special dish I could order- shakshuga. I've only made this for myself before and had never gotten to try a restaurant version. I love all things sauce-y, so this was an exciting dish to see. It's difficult to make tomato dishes taste like much other than well.. tomato. But The Shore did a fantastic job flavoring and spicing this dish. You could taste the mint and all the flavors wonderfully. It was fantastic. My boyfriend got the breakfast enchiladas which he enjoyed, but they were incredibly small. I opted for only a single mimosa this day, but they also have bottomless mimosas that are a great option. I thoroughly enjoy that they have multiple juice options, and bring a carafe of champagne. This allows everyone to choose their own flavor, and add juice to their preference level. It's usually calm in the restaurant, so I enjoy coming here for friends where I can actually hear them, or for a date breakfast or brunch. When it's warm out the patio is especially nice by the river.

A really beautiful bar setting adjacent to the Shore Room restaurant inside Renaissance Reno Downtown Hotel and Spa. Just came from a star search for new young talent at the hotel and decided pop into the bar with a girlfriend for a cocktail. Hadn't been there for a while and it caught our attention as the place was kinda hoppin' We had the most amazing, polite, elegant and charming bar tender. This really resonated with me because he was really a cut above. Nice! We ordered our cocktails and were very pleased with our drinks. We sat and took in the ambiance and really enjoyed sitting at the bar just relaxing and taking g it all in. There is a lot offered at this hotel. Great restaurant, great bar vibe and I had forgotten about the Bocce Ball Courts! A fun place. Must return soon.

Rolled into The Shore Room with my neighborhood supper club...yeah that's right Yelpstars Chris G. rolls with a neighborhood supper club. It was straight Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Yelp Elite edition Saturday night dinner at The Shore Room! I really enjoyed valet being prompt for the grand entrance. We were early for our dinner reservation and learned that on Wednesday and Saturdays at 530pm The Shore Room provides a free complimentary cocktail. The bar ambience was impressive. Once our party arrived we were sat and served by Ryan our waiter. I ordered up some baked oysters as an appetizer. I enjoyed them. For my entree Ryan suggested the Gnocchi add Wagyu. This dish exceeded my expectations for 43$. Dinner was served to our table of 10 with zero issues. I was impressed with The Shore Room. I'll be back for good service, open kitchen views, and tasty food! 5 stars!

Our neighborhood supper club chose The Shore Room for our monthly dinner and I'm glad they did. I've been here only once before many years ago for brunch but wasn't impressed so never returned. Will definitely be giving it more chances again. It is beautiful inside and we arrived early and enjoyed time in their lounge bar area with some yummy NA drinks. Love to see these on the menu, we tried 3 (lavender lemonade, strawberry basil smash, and clean old fashion) that actually taste really good. The rest of our group of 10 arrived and we were seated in the middle of the restaurant with multiple two people tables out together. The bench seating I sat in was very comfy. I loved you could see the open kitchen. Ryan was a great waiter who I only dock for not refilling waters. Our food came out in a timely manner for a large group, I ordered the salmon that came with potatoes zucchini and eggplant, and the sauce I got on the side but only for my husband to try because I never eat sauces. He liked it, my dish was great without it. Perfect size meal for me. Everyone seemed to be pleased with what they had from the barbacoa tacos to the trout to the Wagyu gnocchi to the burger! Atmosphere is nice and I would love to return to enjoy the patio in the spring and summer.

I have been to The Shore once before for dinner and several times for Brunch and my experience with the food always seems to be better with Brunch. I had the Brisket Barbacoa Tacos. They were good, but came out cold. I also ordered the NA Strawberry Basil Smash. My friend had ordered one and I though it was really yummy. I could actually taste and see the fresh strawberry in the drink, but when I got mine, it didn't look or taste the same. Our server had the bartender make me a new one and the second one was much better. I was with a group of 10, so I want to say that Ryan did a great job. He was really pleasant and was quick to fix anything that wasn't quite right. You really can't beat the ambiance here. It's just beautiful, from the decor to the dim lighting, it just gives you a feeling of elegance and fine dining. So this is how my experience was tonight. Food 3/Service 5/Ambiance 5.
